SELECT SURFACE - QUARTZ

Next to cabinetry, your counter will be one of the biggest investments you put into your kitchen renovation. This is why my go to for counter selections is quartz. Quartz is a man made product made up of 93% natural quartz and 7% resins & pigments. Because of this, it is a non- porous material, unlike natural surfaces, making it extremely durable, impermeable and long lasting. When quartz was first introduced the aesthetics of it was not as close to what it is now. Originally quartz looked like a manufactured material with little dots of colours. Now, with increasing technology quartz is becoming more and more natural looking. Impressions of marble, granite and even concrete. Below I have featured a few of my favourite quartz impressions.
